A large green velvet brain anchors one end of a spiralling structure of hundreds of vertebrae, threaded onto copper tubing. At the far end, the vertebrae merge into a velvet drape dipped in hardened plastic. The work offers a visceral metaphor for the ways knowledge and experience travel through and eventually become embedded within the body.

The interplay of textures invites haptic engagement, foregrounding the role of sensation, viscerality, and touch in the formation of knowledge.
